Dear Andre, July 10, 2006 Thank you for your servant heart and for bringing the gospel music to our Fourth of July Community event at St. John Lutheran Church in Ellisville. By our best estimate we impacted over 1,300 members of our community with the activities that were planned for that day. We cooked and served almost 800 hot dogs, over 1,000 sno-cones, 1,000 freeze pops, 350 cups of ice cream, and almost 50 pounds of popcorn. Not to mention the countless bottles of water and cans of soda that were given away. Your group was very professional and fantastic. The message of our Savior was heard by all who were there. I have a great respect for what you were able to do for the ministry of Christ in this place. I pray that your performance at this event brought you the same joy it brought to others. Many who spoke to me after the event were highly complimentary about your music. All in all it was a great party and a fun event for all involved, but none of it would have been possible without donations from servants of our community like you. Your willingness to give to the ministry of our church, is a credit to you and gives glory to the God who made you. Beyond the material things that were handed out, beyond the fireworks that were displayed, beyond the music that was sung and played, beyond the food and drink that were given away, were the Christian hearts and lives of Christ’s faithful followers, on display for all to see and wonder – if it’s good for them, would it be good for me? Andre, it was a blessing to meet you and your family. Words alone cannot express the necessary thanks our church owes you. You are a blessing to St. John.
